Yoga Nidra, the sleep Yoga!

Which is also known as Yogic Sleep, is a practice that enables you to experience deep rest, so that you can recharge and rejuvenate yourself. By removing long standing tensions, you will also improve your capacity to sleep deeply and peacefully.  Not to replace your normal sleep, 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra is the equivalent of 3 to 4 hours of unconscious sleep. Talk about relaxing… bring an eye mask to our session because you’ll definitely benefit from using one.

Restorative Flow Yoga

This specialty yoga practice provides deep rest and relaxation for your body and mind. Gently releasing inner tension while you become still. Poses are held for 3 to 5 mins. (can be held for up to 20) you connect w/the body. Each pose aides the body to balance using NO muscular effort. This type of yoga is known for it's ability to activate the parasympathetic nervous system. This in turn helps the body rest, heal, and restore balance. Flow is used lightly as based on the individual… some people prefer movement in their Restorative Yoga. Everyone who books with me their needs are tailored to their session. Sometimes stillness just doesn’t work for some.

WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR SESSION: Come as you are, but I highly recommend you wear comfy clothing and socks.
Mat, blocks, bolsters and blankets, firm pillow or cushion from your couch will work. Props are not needed but are highly recommended.

Why Yoga by Elizabeth?

There are many reasons why I have wanted to become a Yoga Instructor.  I’ve always, for one, wanted to help people.  I have taken Yoga on and off for several years now, and even when I take time away from it, when I do come back to it, I forget how much I need it in my life.

Elizabeth is certified through 200 hours of training with Awakened Warrior Teacher Training, additional yoga training, provides pre-natal classes with MaYoga®️. Currently teaching at Breathe Yoga in Quartz Hill. Is a Yoga Alliance member.

💕. “I thoroughly enjoy classes with Elizabeth as she crafts each and every session with a theme that aligns with my overall goals. Every session is well thought through and adapts based on how I'm feeling on that day. I love the culmination of a little bit of meditation, wellness challenges(4 walks per week), journal prompts and yoga. This one hour feels like a break to my mind, body and brings me back to present moment. “- Spandana, J

💕 “I’m always looking for a class like Elizabeth’s. Her restorative class is the best one I’ve been to. Elizabeth has been a critical influencer in my health journey after a devastating loss. I don’t know how many times I’ve talked her up to others when we talk about Yoga. Thank you for being such an important person in my transition.” - Maureen B.
